Positive: Lovely place, perfect for a couple for a few days away. The location is great for walking. The Sliabh Bloom & Offaly Way pass the accommodation & all the walks are signposted in the village. The Silver River walk is beautiful! Easy to get to Birr on the local link bus if you don't have a car.
Negative: If like us, you don't have a car, you'll need to make sure you bring everything you need for cooking/food, as there's no shop or pub in the village. Not an issue if you're driving.
